You can put one in your pocket and when you come across some new words, you can look them up quickly. Moreover, with the development of technology, electronic dictionaries are advanced. Most electronic dictionaries contain several different dictionaries, including general and specialized ones.

They can be monolingual, bilingual and multilingual. On top of that, electronic dictionaries come up with a range of additional features such as thesauruses, encyclopedias, business resources, grammar reference, word games, pronunciation and calculation. Last but not the least, the price of electronic dictionaries is getting lower and lower, and most students can afford them. As long as we can make proper use of it, it can be helpful to us in many aspects.
