Huawei: delete extension is not a right call

Huawei Technologies Co. said that Washington's decision to extend the license for another 90 days would have no effect on its business and the move does not change the fact that Huawei continues to misbehave.

The comments came after the US government extended a temporary license for another 90 days to allow the US government to continue business with Huawei, to ensure that telecommunications service providers in rural areas of the US May continue to offer coverage.

US Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said in a statementNT that an extension of a license that was issued in August would "allow carriers in some of the most remote regions of the United States to continue to customers that would otherwise be left in the dark".

In response, Huawei stated that the inclusion of the company in the entity list has caused more damage to the US than Huawei. This has caused significant economic losses with the US companies with which Huawei does business, and has already disrupted cooperation and reduced the mutual trust on which the global supply chain depends.

"We demand the US government to end this unjust behavior and remove Huiti from the list," Huawei said in a statement.
